Vernon Bell was born on May 1, 1945 and departed this life for his eternal home on Sunday, May 16, 2017.

His remains will lie in state on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 1-8pm at Small's Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 9am until the 10am funeral hour at Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church, 310 Sengstak Street, Mobile AL. Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veteran's Cemetery, Spanish, AL.
