Obituary for Wikki Eloise Hines

Wikki Riggins was born on May 3, 1932 to the late James and Lillie Riggins in Waynesboro, MS. She was the youngest of six children, accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour at an early age. Wikki marries James (Jimmy) Hines of Mobile, AL and from this union 4 sons and 4 daughters were born.
He preceded her in death. Also preceded in death by her son: Marcus Stephen Hines; sisters: Ms. Tee Riggins, Mrs. Elnora Mills. James Althea Parker, Sadie Louise (Nookie) Ladner, Vera Nettles; and brother: Johnny Riggins. Until recently, Wikki remained active and departed on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Wikki was a stay at home Mom and a pillar in her family. Devoted mother in raising her children and assisted in advising help in the growth and development of her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved her family deeply. She publicly supported many charities, organizations and continued until her health failed. Her concern in being an advocate reader, gave her voice to share information on current affairs of political and social interest on today’s topics. She will be greatly missed by all.

She leaves to cherish loving memories Terrell Hines (Jacqueline) of Salt Lake City, UT, Joseph Hines (Donnetta) of Lancaster, CA, James Christopher Hines of Portland, OR, Nikki Hines of Portland, OR, Maratai Muldrow (Timothy) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Lisa Tyler (Cedrick) of Mobile, AL, Nykenya Bradley (Marco) of Lexington, KY; loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Pilgrim Rest AME Zion Church, 125 Greer Avenue, Whistler, AL. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. BROAD ST., MOBILE, AL., 36603.
