Obituary for ALPHONSE ENGLISH

Alphonse English "Dust"-A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL born August 18, 1955, departed this life on November 7, 2010. He was an employee of the Mobile County Health Department and a graduate of Murphy High School, Class of 1973. He is survived by five devoted children, Stephanie Price, KaTonio (Meyonda) Grayson, LaTasha Robinson, Latavia Minefield, all of Mobile, AL and Felicia Colston of Atlanta, GA. Four sisters, Lois Ann West, Martha Johnson, Barbara Koger, all of Mobile, AL and Sharon Jordan of Omaha, NB; two brothers Aron Jordan and John Jordan of Birmingham, AL; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host aunts and uncles, devoted aunts, Carrie Bell English and Virgina Sutton and devoted uncle, Eugene English, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state at Smalls Mortuary, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL, Friday, November 12, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the Small's Mortuary Chapel, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane North Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 SOUTH BROAD STREET, MOBILE, AL 36603.
