Althea Phillips ?Baby Sister?, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, born September 8, 1958, departed this life on Friday, May 13, 2011. She was a graduate of W.P. Davidson High School, Class of 1976. She is survived by her common-law husband, Vincent F. Marks, Sr., Mobile, AL; sons, James Stallworth and Vincent Marks, Jr., both of Mobile, AL; daughters, LaTonya Stallworth, Pensacola, FL and Celesia Marks, Mobile, AL; mother, Mattie Lou Phillips, Mobile, AL; sister, Tammy Phillips, Mobile, AL; brothers, Arthur (Gloria) Ely, Akron, OH, Marshall (Mary) Knight and Dave (Vera) Phillips; six grandchildren, Jushun Young, Jahmiya Rush, Jordan L. Stallworth, Joshua K. Stallworth, JayVion Marks and Janea K. Stallworth; mother-in-law; Lillie Marks, Mobile, AL; brother-in-law, Otis Richardson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state on Friday, May 20, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small?s Mortuary, Mobile. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Small?s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. The interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
