Obituary for Amanda Marie Leatherwood

Amanda M. Leatherwood, a resident of Mobile, AL., was born January 22, 1961 to the late Silas and Rose Williams. She departed this life on Sunday, October 2, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Leatherwood; two sisters, Eunice L. Scott and Rose Mary Chambers.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Shirley (Lonnie) Wilson and Gloria (Walter) Williams; One brother, Silas Leatherwood, III; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her remains will lie in state from 1-8pm Friday, October 7, 2016 at Small's Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 9am until the 11:00am funeral hour at the Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1410 R. T. Thomas Dr., Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
