Obituary for ANNE BROOKS Dr

Dr. Anne Brooks, a native of Prichard, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL was born October 4, 1943, she departed this life on June 8, 2008, She was a graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School and received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Alabama State University, Master's degree from Morgan State College and Doctorial degree from Auburn University. Dr. Brooks was initiated in 1964 to the Beta Eta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at Alabama State University, Dr. Brooks is a retiree of Miles College in Fairfield, AL. She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and caring twin sister, Fannie (Arthur) Wright, Jr.; four other sisters Pearline Reed, Mary (Henry) Sharpe, Gertrude Williams, Willie Mae Brooks and one brother, Levi Brooks all of Mobile. Other survivors include loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and former co-workers.Memorial Services will be held on Friday June 13, 2008 at Taylor Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church 910 Dunlap Circle, Prichard, AL at 11:00 A.M. The Omega Service of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will begin at 10:00 A.M. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Board St. Mobile, AL
