Obituary for Annie Mae Roberts

Annie Mae Roberts was born November 11, 1937 to the late George and Lillie Barnes Sr. She departed this life Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She retired from Albert P. Brewer after 25 years of service.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband Clarence Roberts Sr., three siblings, Clarence Barnes, Emma Robinson, Dellavan Barnes & devoted niece Mattie Perry.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two loving and devoted siblings, Shirley B. Thomas, and George (Juanita) Barnes Jr.; ten devoted children, Joyce (Charles) Shipman, Clara (Richard) Everett, Donna (Kenneth) Law, Rose (Michael) Skanes, Annie (James) Robinson, Clarence (Melanie) Roberts Jr., Darren (Stephanie) Roberts, Catherine Roberts, Michael (Jennifer) Roberts, and Bobby (Tanya) Roberts; thirty grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Church of God Pentecostal, McIntosh, AL. Interment will follow in Big John Church Cemetery, Malcolm, AL.
