Obituary for Anthony Dean

Anthony Frederick Dean was born December 18, 1958 in Mobile, AL. He was a longtime resident of Prichard, AL. He was the son of the late Mr. Howard and Mary Dean. He departed this life early Wednesday morning, February 3, 2010 in a local hospital with family at his bedside. He was baptized at an early age at the Union Missionary Baptist Church, Plateau, AL. under the leadership of the late Rev. H. H. Smith. He was a graduate of Blount High School in 1977. He joined the Armed Force at the age of 19. He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters, Diane Parker, Deloris Porter, and Felicia Whittiker (Ricky) all of Mobile, AL.; four brothers, Andrew (Willie Mae) Parker of Huntsville, AL., James (Ollie Bell) Parker, David (Marilyn) Parker all of Mobile, AL. and Rickey (Earnestine) Fletcher of North Carolina; three devoted nephews, Sherman Parker, Derrick Parker, and Jamaray Porter; three devoted nieces, Edrenia Porter, Shantel Bailey, and Jessica Porter; two aunts, Matilda Marks and Bernice Drayton of Atmore, AL. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 6, 2010 after 12:00 noon until the 2:00 p.m funeral hour at True Light Missionary Baptist Church, 2001 W. Main Street, Prichard, AL. Rev. Michael Howard pastor. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
