Obituary for Bernice Ludgood

Bernice Ludgood - A life long resident of Mobile, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 21, 2009 at Allen Memorial Nursing Home. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA. On August 21, 1919 and wed to Jake Ludgood who preceded her in death along with a son, Charles Ludgood. She was a long and faithful member of the Apostolic Faith Church, 969 Weinacker Avenue, Mobile, AL. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Murlene Ludgood from Newfound Land, Canada; three sons, Earl (Peggy) Ludgood, Willie (Renetta) Ludgood, Joseph (Marion) Ludgood all of Mobile, AL.; niece Margie (Dr. Joe) Lee; cousin, Evelyn Rushton; sister-in-law, Myrtle Bush James. She is blessed to have ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Her remains will lie in state Saturday, December 26, 2009 after 10:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Faith Church, 969 Weinacher Avenue, Mobile, AL. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL
