Obituary for Betty Harris

Betty J. Harris- 71 a native and resident of Mobile born December 13, 1937 departed this life Sunday, December 28, 2008 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen James Asberry and two brothers, Willie and Booker T. Asberry. She leaves to mourn her passing, a devoted husband, Peter E. Harris, Sr., two devoted daughters, Regina (Freddie) McCreary and Debra (Jimmie) Crenshaw, four sons, Carl (Suporior), Peter Jr., Derrick and Gregory Harris, mother, Mary Asberry, all of Mobile, twelve grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, January 2, 2009 from 1-8 pm and Saturday, January 3, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour First Baptist Baltimore St. Church. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL 36603.
