Obituary for Carrie Dubose-Harris

Mrs. Carrie Lee Dubose Harris-- a native and resident of Mobile, born June 22, 1938, departed this life Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at a local hospital. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, two daughters, Lillie "Sue" (Larry) McMillian, and Carol (Wade) Dawkins, six sons, James "Pete" (Dorothy), Berkley (Iwanna), George (Aletha), Thaddeus, Leander (Edna), Dinnell "Duke" (Anitra) Harris, two adopted sons, Rodney "Rock" (Thelia) Finch and Hosea Midell, all of Mobile, sixty-four grands, numerous great-grands, brother, George (Florence) Brown, Paserdena, CA, six godchildren, two nieces, Theresa York Henderson, Huntsville, AL, and Yasmine Brown, Paserdena, CA, other relatives and friends, two devoted, Mrs. Aldonia Cosby and Mrs. Bernice Crockett. Her remains will lie in state Saturday, December 8, 2007 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, #2, Interment Catholic Cemetery. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. BROAD ST., MOBILE, AL.
