Obituary for CECIL MORRIS Sr.

Mr. Cecil Morris, Sr. -- a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, born April 27, 1940, departed this life Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at a local hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories, devoted wife of twenty-five years, Earlie M. Hickenbottom-Morris; three devoted children, daughter Brenadetta (Tom) Jones, Augusta, GA. sons, Lionel and Cecil (Antionette) Morris, Jr. both of Mobile, four grands, Tyleem, Aliyah, and Zayvion Davis, Augusta, GA. Tashieka Luster, Akron, OH., five brothers, George (Faydene), Elbert, Marshall and Greg (Geraldine) Morris, all of Mobile, Rev. Walter (Barbara) Morris, Brooklyn, NY, four sisters, Johnnie M. Hunter and Rosina Howard, both of Mobile, Aggie Williams, Hemet, CA., Janette (Herlis) Williams , Houston, TX., a host of aunts, one very devoted Florida Bell Collins, uncles, nieces, one special devoted Rose Jones, Ft. Walton Beach, FL., nephews, other relatives and friends, one devoted, Beverly Ann Miller. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, November 17, 2006 from 1-8 p.m. and Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, after 9am. The family will receive friends and family from 10am until the 11am funeral hour, Rev. H.P. Williams, Jr. Pastor and officiating minister, Imterment Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile.
