Obituary for Charles Charlie Boy Seals

Charles Edward "Charlie Boy" Seals- a native of Prichard and a resident of Mobile, born August 18, 1946 departed this life Friday, March 14, 2008. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Cedar Grove Academy. He was employed at Ingall's Shipbuilding. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John and Cresyln Seals; brother, Phillip Seals. He leaves to cherish his memories, son Alonzo Seals, Florence, CA; four brothers, Johnnie, Pensacola, FL, Jerry, Whistler, AL, Michael (Brenda), Mobile and Bishop LeBaron Seals, Compton, CA; five sisters, Shirley (Elder Augustus) McNair, Omaha, NE, Evang. Lucille (Joseph Sr.) Alexander, Mobile, Evang. Anniece Seals, Compton, CA, Evang. Charlotte (Bishop Melvin) Lambert, Fayetville, NC, Barbara Seals, Prichard, and step-sister, Dorothy Carroll, Mobile; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Monday, March 24, 2008 from 1-8pm and Tuesday, March 25, 2008 after 11am until the 1pm funeral hour. Interment in Lawn Haven Cemetery. Services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St., Mobile, AL 36603.
