Obituary for Chester Allen Johnson
Chester Allen "Boot” Johnson Sr. a native of Camden, AL and resident of Mobile AL was born August 21, 1960 and departed this life for eternity on Tuesday, December, 22, 2015. He was employed as a forklift operator at Mitchell Containers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosetta & Walter Smith.
He leaves to cherish his precious wife, Peggy Johnson; four children, Christinia (Stephen) Caster, Chester (Jessica) Johnson Jr., Mytrell (Chanetta) Johnson and Paisley Johnson; parents, Herbert & Ruby Johnson; two brothers, Lee Roger (Patricia) Johnson and Herbert (Ericia) Johnson; two sisters, Rosetta (Walter) Williams and Dianne (Lawrence) Ratcliff; four grandchildren, Stephen, Jr., Madisen, Kayana, and Camron;; one sister in law; two brothers in law; five aunts, two uncles; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends, one close friend since childhood Vernon Mitchell (VO).
His remains will lie in state on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 545 Cody Rd. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
