Obituary for Cleora Waymon Chastang Fowler

Cleora J. Waymon Chastang Fowler, a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Albany, GA was born May 7, 1934 and was called home to be with our heavenly father on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. She was an active member of the Eureka Baptist Church of Albany, GA under the leadership of Pastor Bill Edge. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, George Fowler of Albany, GA, mother, Rosalena Waymon, sisters, Earline Morrissette and Maxine George, brother-in-law, McKinley Jones, all of Mobile, AL, adopted sons, Andre Waymon of Mobile, AL and Curtis Fowler of Albany, GA, special niece, Carla Morrissette, special friends, Rose Lomax Davis of Mobile, AL, Carolyn Steps, Leola Smith, Brenda Neal Martha Maxwell, all of Albany, GA and the Eureka church family. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to name. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 1712 Chestang Street, Prichard, AL, Rev. Carl Bolton, Pastor, Rev. Bill Edge of Albany, GA, officiating. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, AL.
