Obituary for Clifton Webb Sr.

Mr. Clifton Webb, Sr., a native of Mobile, AL was born January 8, 1929, departed this life for eternity on August 17, 2009. He was 80. He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Mrs. Bessie Webb, five children, Lolita Jackson Wilmington, DE, Marie Bridges, Clifton (Jacinda) Webb, Jr. Cheryl Lang and Beverly (Willie) Williams all of Mobile 16 grandchildren, 1 devoted Shawn (Bridgette) Ford and 19 great grandchildren 1 brother Leroy Webb of California and 1 sister Loretta Green of Georgia, 3 sister-in-laws Cora Scott, Betty Minor and Paulette Williams all of Mobile. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends 4 devoted Curtis Green, Helen Douglas, Bobby Brown and James Hunter. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday August 21, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 PM and Saturday August 22, 2009 at the Rock of Faith Baptist Church 1105 S. Ann Street Mobile at 9:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery Mobile, AL. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary 950 S. Broad Street Mobile, AL.
