Obituary for Clyde Pettway

Mrs. Clyde C. Pettway-- a native of Selma, AL, and a longtime resident of Mobile departed this life Sunday, November 1, 2009 at a local hospital. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and brother. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Robert Pettway, four daughters, Paulette Pettway, Claudette (Alfred) Nelson, Anita (Robert) Carson, Annette (Joe) Morrisette, all of Mobile, son, Dea. Kimble (Zsaquez) Pettway, Birmingham, AL, step-son, Bruce (Shelia) Pettway, Theodore, AL, twenty grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, two sisters, Gracie (Willie) Young, and Elzoria (Lee) Williams, both of Montgomery, AL, four, sisters and brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends one devoted Theresa Lambert. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, November 6, 2009 from 1-8pm and Saturday, November 7, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane North Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
