Obituary for Daniel Dee Mingo

Daniel Tyler Mingo, affectionally known as "Dee", was born December 17, 1984 in Mobile, Alabama. He departed this life on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at approximately 3:25 p.m. at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Wilmer and Bernice Darrington; and his maternal great-grandmother, Ethel Davis. After confessing Jesus as Lord of his life, he was united with Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. W.C. McNeal, Sr. Daniel leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted mother, Cynthia D. Mingo; a devoted grandmother, Yuille L. Agee; a father, Roderick L. Darrington; two great-grandmothers: Carrie Darrington and Elizabeth Andrews; four aunts: Deborah and Beverly Darrington, Lisa (Alonzo) Beard and one devoted, Beverly A. Hurst; two uncles: Deacon Antonio (Pamela) Darrington, Sr., one devoted, Keith Washington; a god-mother, Angela Mixon; a host of relatives, one devoted, Delores Parker; and friends, two loving and devoted: Randall Bruno and Nadia. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 6, 2009 after 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, 650 South Bayou Street, Mobile, AL. Rev. Cleveland McFarland pastor, and Rev. W. C. McNeil, Sr. officiating minister. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
