Obituary for Darrell Chapman

Darrell Kennard Chapman-- a native of Mobile and a resident of Atlanta, born August 31, 1962 departed this life Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie B. Chapman. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sharon Chapman, Tallahassee, FL. three sons, Darrell and Daniel White, both of Mobile and Adonis Niko Pedro, Atlanta, two daughters, Janie and Shenna White, both of Mobile, five loving grandchildren, a devoted mother, Marie Chapman, two sisters, Shrinda (Dwayne) Powell and Sonya Crawford, all of Mobile, five brothers, Roderick (Chastity) Chapman, Escondido, CA., Ryan Chapman (Schaski Taylor), Mobile, Derrick Chapman (Adrienne Wells), Rock Island, IL., Eric Kidd, Mobile and Robert Jackson, New York, aunt, Virginia Hill, Mobile, four uncles, Sid Hill, Mobile, Matthew and Earnest Hill, both of Cleveland, OH., and Lee Thomas, Milwaukee, WI., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, two devoted, Gray Hill and Yukalandis (Carlos) Roberson, both of Mobile, other relatives and friends, eight devoted, Nicole Pedro, Delores Bradley, Fannie Knight, Hardy Rowe, Bryan Richardson, Mark Edwards, Clyde Weems and Phillip Glover. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, November 21, 2008 from 1-8pm and Saturday, November 22, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 2667 Reaves St. Mobile, Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
