Obituary for David Bird Turner

David O. "Bird" Turner-- a native and resident of Mobile born June 30, 1983 departed this life Thursday, June 4, 2009. He was a graduate of Williamson High School. He was preceded in death by grandparents, O.C. and Dorothy Robertson, Margaret Pettaway and Wheeler Whittaker. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Shirley Turner, father, David Coleman, two brothers, Darron (Janina) and Lebarron, sister Latarsha Turner, four nephews, two nieces, devoted great-grandparents, Mr. John and Margaret Turner, a host of aunts, and uncles, one devoted Pamela (Dorian) Pettaway, great- aunt, Christine Turner, other relatives and friends, one devoted Ralph Houston. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, June 12, 2009 from 1-8pm and Saturday, June 13, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
