Obituary for DEACON MILTON P E Op

Deacon Milton Pope, 76, was born July 27, 1935 and departed this life on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Voncile and John Pope Sr., brother, John Pope Jr., Margarette Pope and Helen D. Pope. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Katina Pope, five daughters, Diane (Havery) Hunter, Shelia (Reginald) Cook, Regina (William) Wynn, Davolyn and Crystal Davis; three sons, Milton Pope Jr., Willie Jones and Travis Davis; two sisters, Goldie (Charles) Andrews and Charlotte (Michael) Moore; one brother, Cleveland (Ethel) Jackson. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Greater Allenville A.O.H. Church of God, 2930 Whistler St. , Prichard , AL , with Bishop Richard Curtis, Sr., Officiating. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens , Theodore , AL.
