Obituary for Della Williams Jackson

Della Jackson, a native of Baldwin County and a longtime resident of Mobile, was born February 22, 1943 and departed this life for her eternal home on March 3, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter and son.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Alisa Jackson (Marion) Simpson; five sons, Charles (Bessie)Poole, Issac Williams, Austin (Tamela) Williams; Allen Jackson and Jesse (Tamara) Jackson, Jr.; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Her remains will lie in state from 1-8pm on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Greater Nazaree MB Church, 501 J. Blair St., Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
