Obituary for Derrick Maurice Abrams

Derrick M. Abrams Sr. entered into a peaceful rest at age 39 in Atlanta, GA. He was born on December 8, 1976, to Irma and Joseph Abrams Sr. of Mobile, AL. Derrick was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Abrams and father-in-law, Carl (Youlanda) Cromwell. He attended Christ the King Church in Gwinnett County where he resided with his wife, Tiffany Abrams and children Derrick Jr. and Drew. Derrick was a prominent PHA Mason, Shriner, and a member of the Consistory .
He leaves cherished memories for his sister, Jacquelin (Derrick) Chapman; brothers, Joseph Jr., Keith (Cathetheia) and sister-in-law Tracey Abrams; Two brother-in-laws and sister-in laws; godmother Gwendolyn Jones and devoted friend, LaDerrick Langham and a host of special nieces and nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 form 10am until the 12noon Celebration of Life at Stone Street Baptist Church, 311 Tunstall St. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
