Earl Lee  Crum
Earl Lee Crum, the son of Alfred and Clessianna Crum was born August 7, 1934 in Dallas County, Alabama. He was a resident of Mobile, Alabama for many years. He made his transition on Wednesday July 18, 2018 at the Robertsdale Rehabilitation Center in Robertsdale, AL.
Earl Lee Crum was employed by Alabama State Docks as a Long Shoreman ILA 1410, where he retired. He was also employed at Bishop State Community College, where he also retired.

He was known and loved by many in his community for years as “Tight Rope”. He was a man that affectionately loved his family, his loving wife, his children, grand and great grandchildren. Earl Lee for years loved to master the Barbeque grill and the fried turkey pot. For the last few years his greatest past time was relaxing and sitting under his carport.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Alfred Crum and Clessianna Morgan; two daughters: Patricia Spencer and Catherine Tresvant; twelve siblings: L.C. Crum, J.D. Crum, George Crum, Eugene Crum, Johnnie Lee Crum, Alfred Crum, J.C. Morgan, Mary Jackson, Beatrice Moorer, Idell Rice, Essie Carter and Addie Coleman.

Earl Lee Crum leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 63 years: Corine Jones Crum of Mobile, AL; four devoted children: Brenda Stallworth (Dwight Miller), Joyce (Roland) Lett, Carolyn (Oliver) Williams and Earl (Lisa) Crum all of Mobile, AL; eighteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; one son in law: June Spencer; three sisters-in-laws: Annie Lee Crum, Essie Mae Dumas and Carsteen Jones, all of Mobile, AL; a devoted adopted brother: Cozy Brown of Mobile, AL ; one devoted cousin: Mildred Jackson-Williams of Mobile, AL; two devoted nieces: Valarie Foster of Mobile, AL and Kaharri Cowan of Birmingham, AL; four devoted friends: Harvey Eaton, Chester Lewis, Marvin McQueen and Charles Gardner, all of Mobile, AL.; a large host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His remains will lie in state on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 1–8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour in Small’s Mortuary Chapel, Mobile. Interment will follow in Sidney Chapel AME Zion Cemetery, County Road 14, 327 Sidney Chapel, Thomason, AL 36783.
