Edward "Ed" Harris-- 64 a native of Fowl River, AL., and a resident of Mobile, born August 15, 1943. departed this life Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at a local hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories a very devoted wife, MIldred Ringold Harris, six sons, Gregory(Sherold), Eddie, Marcus, Bernard and Aldrich(Shalonda) Ringold, all of Mobile, Terrance Forrest, Europe, daughter, Karla Harris Price, Fowl River, twelve grands, seven sisters, Mildred Hendrix, Mobile, Catherine Pollock, Edna Crockett, Ines Hughes, Gladys Wilkerson, all of Fowl River, Carrie H. Bracey, Bromley, AL. and Brenda Moore, Los Angeles, CA., six brothers, one devoted, Eugene Harris, Fowl River, Alsia Harris, Jr., Baytown, TX., Roosevelt Harris, Grand Bay, Leon Harris, Irvington and Lee Barry Harris, Tallahassee, FL. Services will be Saturday, April 5, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour, Pilgrim Rest A. M. E. Zion Church, Fowl River, AL., interment Fowl River Cemetery.
