Edward Carver Sykes--a native of Mobile, and a resident of New Orleans departed this life Sunday November 19, 2006 at an area hospital.He leaves to cherish his memories wife, Susan Sykes, mother, Minnie Sykes, both of Mobile, daughter, Giselle Sykes, Atlanta, GA.,two sons, Derrick Sykes, New Orleans and Edward Sykes, CA., two brothers, Harvey Sykes, Willie Sykes, both of Mobile, two sisters, Gwynn Payne, N. Chicago, IL., and Lucy McQueen, Mobile. Vistiation will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Small's Mortuary from 9am until the 11am funeral hour. Interment Rising Sons Cemetery
