Obituary for ELIJAH MARSH Sr.

Elijah Marsh, Sr. - a native of Camden, AL. and a resident of Mobile, born November 29, 1925 departed this life Saturday, December 16, 2006 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Ann Dixon, father, Alfred Marsh, two sisters, Ida Mae Kimbrough and Dannie Mae Blount, three brothers, Samuel, Alfred Marsh and Cornelius Dixon. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing daughter, Tracey (Demetri) Williams, Mobile, three sons, Elijah Jr. (Lannie) Marsh, Detroit, MI., Towaski Hunt, Ft. Worth, TX., and Dan E. (Veronica) Marsh, Mobile, three sisters, Mary (Prince) Anderson, Jennie (O.L.) Shannon, and Mentoria (Robert) Gaddis all of Ohio, three brothers, Leonard Dixon, MI, Nathaniel (Tuttie), William (Ada) Dixon both of Ohio, eleven grands, six great-grand, a host of nieces, two devoted Minnie Walker, Ethel Mae Curry, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, December 22, 2006 from 1-8pm and Saturday, December 23, 2006 after 12:30pm until the 2:30 pm funeral hour. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery, North. Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL 36603
