Obituary for Elizabeth Council

Elizabeth S. Council -- a native of Barlow Bend, AL, and resident of Mobile born October 1, 1950 departed this life Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Sis Council was a faithful member of New Life Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert Stokes, where she served on many auxiliaries, Mother Board, Pastoral Care Board and the Hospitality Committee. She leaves to cherish her precious memories three children, Mrs. Juanita (Eddie) Davis, Mr. Floyd Clarke and Mr. Jermaine Council Sr., one step daughters, Mrs Lisa (Mark) Foxx, nine grands, La' Kiel Nobles, Ne' Keita Clarke, Torrey Lewis, Jasmaine Mickles, Da'vonte Lewis, Kwanda Powe, Master Jermaine Council, Jr. Marketries and Marlisa Foxx, god grand-daughters, Makayln Williams, ten brothers, James (Valdine), James (Justine), David L., William (Phyllis), Matthew (Paula) and Curtis Clarke, Elder Robert (Andretta) and Willie Stokes, Willie J. (Lu-Ann) and Clinton (Melissa) Myles, four sisters, Bertha Rudolph, Georgia Murphy, Cline Mead, Terica Dees, a host of aunts one devoted Ms. Viola Moss, uncles, nieces, nephews, a devoted step mother, Juanita Dees; five devoted god-children, Mrs. Lavern Dixon, Mr. Donte Leverette, Mr. David Boykin, Mrs. Ke' Tosha Lucy, Mr. Chelsa Warren, other relatives and four friends, one special devoted Ms. Shirley Jackson. Ms. Lisa Jones, Ms. Tanya Moorer and Ms. Melissa Lewis. Services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2007 after 11am until the 1pm funeral hour at Faith City Cathedral, Mobile St. Interment in Gethsemane North Cemetery. Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL.
