Obituary for Elizabeth James

Elizabeth "Cookie" James-- 88 a lifelong resident of Mobile, born April 18, 1919, departed this life Sunday, November 25, 2007 at a local hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Bernard, Verndon and Valeido James, two daughters, Mildred Massey and Bettye Brown, a host of grands, great-grands, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, November 30, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday, December 1, 2007 after 10am until the 12noon funeral hour Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1109 Baltimore St., Rev. Gabe Davis, pastor and officiating minister. Interment Casher Cemetery. Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St., Mobile, AL.
