Obituary for Emily Moore

Sis. Emily Williams Moore - A native and a resident of Mobile, Al. for a number of years, was born to the union of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthews (Mary) Williams on December 21, 1918. Preceding her in death four of her children, Prescie Jr, and Joe L. Moore, Margaret Edwards and Nancy A. Franks. One brother Hines Williams. One sister Nancy Guy. She departed her earthly journey to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 16, 2009. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband of 74 years, Mrs. Prescie Moore, four daughters Mary Morris, Brenda (Rev. Bobby) Young, Rosalind Bridges and Felecia (Dea. Larry) Moore all of Mobile. 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grand children, and 10 great-great grandchildren. 4 God Children, 1 niece, 6 nephews, 5 sister-in-laws, 2 brother-in-laws, other relatives and friends, one devoted Ms. Mary Pharr. Special thanks to Regina and Saad's Hospice. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday August 21, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday August 22, 2009 at the St. Luke Baptist Church. 751 Texas St. Mobile, AL. Rev. Buford Hall pastor and Rev. Bobby Young officiating minister. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, AL.
