Emma Mae Lee Rogers-- a native of Angie, LA and a longtime resident of Grand Bay, AL was born June 22, 1948 to the late Jesse Lee, Sr. and Della Lee, departed this life Friday January 8, 2016 at a local hospital. She was a member of the Little Rock AME Zion Church where she served as a faithful usher. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her daughter; Tamara Rogers, brother; Larry Lee, father and mother-in-law; Oscar Rogers and Claretta Rogers, and sisters-in-law; Mary Locke and Jacqueline Easter. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted son and daughter-in-law; Oscar Rogers, III and Erma Rogers, three loving grandchildren; Cameran Rogers, Caley Rogers and Oscar Rogers, IV, a devoted husband of over 30 years; Oscar Rogers, Jr., three sisters; Patricia (Toan) Jones, Zadie Mae Spikes, and Annie Ruth Lee, all of Louisiana, four brothers; Jesse (La Necee) Lee, Shreveport, LA, Garry (Kaye) Lee, Sandy Hook, MS, and Troy (Zola) Lee, Nevada, a devoted brother-in-law; Joseph (Betty) Rogers, five devoted sisters-in-law; Doris Matthews, Dorothy Davis, Annie Dukes, Cynthia (James) Wright, and Carolyn Ezell, all of Grand Bay, AL, five devoted god-children; Erika Matthews, Christopher Rogers, Darren Lee, Derrick Lee, and Cynthia Lee, two devoted friends; Ida Lewis and Evelyn Peyton and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 11am until the 1pm funeral hour Little Rock AME Zion Church, 10010 Fernland Road Grand Bay, AL.
