Obituary for Emma Lee Williams

Emma Lee Williams, age 78, a resident of Mobile, AL. departed this life Sunday, September 15, 2013 at a local Nursing Home. She was a devoted member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and a friend to everyone who know her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Carrington Williams; daughter, Ruthie Mae Crittenden; grandson, KeShun M. Carter; and three brothers, Earnest (Lillie) Williams, John (Mary) Williams and James (Betsy Mae) Williams. She leaves to mourn her passing, a devoted granddaughter, Shunda La?Shea Carter and grandson, Kendrick Crittenden both of Mobile, AL; 6 great-grandchildren, Glenn M. Carter, Donterio M. Carter, Ta?Keria S. Carter, Kenzleigh Halo Crittenden, Carrington Alayah Crittenden, and Kayden Mae Crittenden, all of Mobile, AL; 2 sisters, Lola (Joseph) Dubose-Allen of Memphis, TN and Pearlie Ashley of Long Beach, CA; 7 brothers, Louis (Cheryl) Williams, Bobby (Diane) Williams, Freddie (Bennie Sue) Williams, Chester (Shirley) Williams, Willie (Late Mary) Williams, Arthur (Barbara Ann) Williams, all of Mobile, AL and Eddie (Pearl) Williams of Chicago, ILL and a host of other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm at Small?s Mortuary, Mobile. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 9am until the 10:45am funeral hour at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 506 Bay Bridge Road, Plateau, AL 36610.
