Obituary for Ernibeth Butler
Ernibeth Butler, 79, a resident of Wilmer, AL, transitioned on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at a local hospital.
Ernibeth was a veteran of the United States Army. He served actively for 2 years from 1961-1963 and rose to the rank of Specialist E-5. After completing his initial tour of duty he enlisted in the Army Reserve for 4 years.
Ernibeth was a loving and devoted brother to his siblings and love wrestling and listening to country music.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Dave Butler and Laura Vincent Butler; an infant brother: Richard Butler. He is survived by six sisters: Ruby (Clyde) Dumas, Lula Brundidge, Etta Davis, Mary (Daniel) Lovely, Rosie Butler, Linda Butler; one brother: Dave Butler, Jr.
His remains will lie in state on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 1- 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Moffettville Baptist Church, 7770 Wilson Road, Wilmer, AL. Interment will follow in Moffettville Cemetery, Wilmer, AL.
