Condolence: To the Cannon Family We are sorry to hear about the passing of Eula Cannon. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Often we hear the expression, we know how you feel. Really the statement is true. There is not one person that has not lost someone in death. So today when you grieve, we will all grieve together. Are we not thankful to God that He provides true comfort that will enable us to deal with the lost of a love one or friend. This comfort that God makes known will provide wonderful blessing even to those who have died. This is what God is telling the Cannon family today. He tells us that soon He would rid the earth of all sicknesses and death.(Revelation 21:3-4) He then give this wonderful promise that all should give a listening ear to. He says, that He would empty the graves and restore life back to those who have died.(John 5:28-29) Can you imagine living when no one would get sick and died? Also can you envision the time when family members and friends will have their lives giving back to them. Only God who is the source of all life can do this. The two above scriptures are a sure guarantee that this arrangement will take place. Our Creator knows that many would have doubts in this arrangement; so He has preserved eight accounts in the bible that shed light on this grand provision to come. Here is one such example. It is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. May we please encourage the family to read the account. When doing so, think about how the verses would apply to Eula, as God uses His powers to restore her back to life. Again we ask after the reading, can you see Eula alive again? Do you see her being reunited back with all the family members and friends? Yes what a marvelous time period this will prove to be. Today the earth is certainly filled with much sadness. Death has truly taken it toll on the human family. God has told us from the many letters of the bible that this is about to come to it end. Gone from the earth will be tears of pain. The tears that will now be displayed will be that of joy and laughter. Yes the resurrection has taken place. So for now take comfort from the scriptures. God has given us His personal guarantee. God does not lie.(Titus 1:2)
