Obituary for Fannie Wells

Sis Fannie R. Wells-- a native of Conecuh County and a resident of Daphne, for more than forty years, born September 17, 1938 departed this life Sunday, October 28, 2007 at her residence . She was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where she served in various capacities and Daphne Pride Order of Eastern Star Chapter 387. She was a retired City Employee. She was preceded in death by her, husband, parents and two siblings. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Ashley Wells, Loxley, Janet (Charles Sr.) Avery, three step daughters, Morscelee Abrams, Diann Norwood and Vickie (Robert) Sanders, three step sons, Milton, Danny (Shirley) and Elkay Wells Jr., all of Mobile one grandson, Charles Jr., a host of step grands, four aunts, Annie Rhoni, Addie and Mildred Peters, two uncles, Johnny and Peter Peters. a host of devoted cousins, Emma Jean (Clinton) Rudolph, Castleberry, Charlie (Alma) and Eddie Rudolph, Carrie Jemison and Laura McCovery all of Daphne, other relatives and friends, one devoted Pat Miles. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, November 2, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday, November 3, 2007 after 12noon until the 2pm funeral hour Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Interment Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Daphne, AL. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad St., Mobile, AL.
