Obituary for Frederick Scott Jr.

Frederick Ezell Scott Jr.-- a native of Walker Springs, AL. and a resident of Mobile for more than fifty years, born July 21, 1940 to Frederick Scott Sr. and Shirley Ezell departed this life Sunday, July 26, 2009. He was a member of the Shrine of The Holy Cross for eighteen years. He was educated in the Mobile County School System and a graduate of Central High School Class of 1959, Mobile. He was employed with Christian Benevolent Insurance Company, Mobile and Protective Industrial Life, Birmingham. He served as an Agent, Supervisor and Manager. He received numerous National and Local Awards for his performance. He was a graduate of The National Insurance Association Managerial Shool, Dillard University, LA., He was a graduate of The Executive Management Program Springhill College, Mobile. He served as Financial Secretary and President of the Mobile Mangerial Association. He retired after thirty-four years of service. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of twenty-eight years, Lorraine Peagler Scott, Mobile, four sons, Frederick III, Fairhope, Michael (Dekia), Atlanta, GA., Howard (Shironda) and Tony A. Scott, both of Mobile, two daughters, Michele' (Winston) Gandy and Teresita (Dwight) Jones, both of Atlanta, GA., twelve grandchildren, three sisters, Johnita (Leo) Watts, Mobile, Della (Roy) Darnel, AZ and Annie Spencer Mobile, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Small's Mortuary, Mobile, Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
