Obituary for George Reynard Hyde II

Geroge R. Hyde a native of Mobile, AL and lifelong resident of Daphne, AL departed into eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. George attended Emerson Elementary/High School in Mobile, AL. He left home at an early age to pursue his career as a Merchant Seaman. He later resided in New York City where he met and married Irma A. Pines. In the union of their marriage he gained a loving step-daughter, Doris L. Foster. Later years George left New York and moved back to Mobile, AL and resided in Daphne, AL with his wife Irma, step-daughter Doris and grandson, Frank, Sr. He was married to Irma whom he loved and cherished for thirty three years prior to her passing onto the Lord. George leaves to cherish his memories, one sister, Mary Hyde Liddell of Mobile, AL; a devoted step-daughter, Doris L. Foster of Daphne, AL; grandson, Frank R. (Dessie) Howard, Sr. of Mobile, AL; great grandchildren, Kimberly Howard Chowdhury of Atlanta, GA and Frank Howard III of Mobile, AL; nieces, Cynthia (Harold) Neckles of Mobile, AL, Brenda (Frank) Anderson, Michele (Harry) Robinson, all of New York City, NY and Mary Turner of Mobile, AL; nephews, Labaron (Barbara) White, Sr. of Westbury, NY and Leon W. Boyd of New York City, NY; a host of great nieces and nephews, three devoted, Erica (Kareem) Neckles Hill; Casaundra (Barnard) H. Mosley of Birmingham, AL and Richard Hightower, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Bethel AME Church 714 Savannah St. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
