Obituary for Gwendolyn Isabora Seltzer

Gwendolyn Isodora “Boo” Seltzer-Giddens, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, departed this life on August 13, 2015. She was a 1979 graduate of John Shaw High School, a certified nursing assistant and medical technician. She begin her Christian walk early in life and reaffirmed her commitment to Christ during her final transition. She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved life mate and best friend of thirty-five years, Mr. Reginald (Red) Giddens; five beloved and devoted children; Reginald (Kendra) Seltzer-Giddens, Dominick, Kendal, Mya and Mariah Giddens; two devoted stepchildren, Reginald Giddens and Kim Whitley; grandchildren, KaMora, Kylie, Keith and Kenya; six devoted brothers and sisters; Melvin, Thomas, Lonnie, Willie and Sandra Seltzer, LaBertha (Kendall) Whitfield and Margaret Mixon; loving uncle, Ricky Watson; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 1pm until the 3pm funeral hour at Bethel AME Church, 714 Savannah St. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL’S MORTUARY, 950 SOUTH BROAD ST. MOBILE, AL. 36603.
