Hattie M. White-- a native and resident of Mobile, born October 22, 1952, departed this life Wednesday May 15, 2008. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie G. Maddox Sr, stepfather, Levoyd Lewis, great aunt, Hattie Stephenson, sister, Deloris M. Maddox, brother, Matthew N. Maddox, godparents, Fred and Bessie Daniels. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, Roosevelt White Sr., four sons, Roosevelt B.(Erica) White Jr., Edwin E. White Sr., Demetrius and Anthony White, daughter, Arneeta(Arthur) Thames, grands, great- grands, loving and devoted mother, Barbara J. Lewis, two sisters, Barbara A. Evans, all of Mobile and Metrogene(Thomas) McLaurin, Forest Park, GA., three brothers, Willie(Anne) Maddox Jr., Tampa FL., Thomas(Jackie) Maddox, Bay Minette and John D. Maddox, Mobile, two sisters-in-law, Bessie Reese and Flordia Johnson, brother-in-law, Tommy White, two devoted aunts, Fannie LeBeaux, Gloria Wells, nine devoted friends, Linda(Sam) Young, Andrew Thomas, George(Edna) Dillard, David(Edith) Johnson, Gloria Perkins. a host of aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, May 23, 2008 from 1-8pm and Saturday, May 24, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour New Faith Missionsary Baptist Church, 1808 Halls Mill Rd., Interment Lawn Haven Cemetery.
