Obituary for Helen Curry Jones

Helen Curry Jones born June 24, 1936, a native of West Virginia and a resident of Mobile, AL. Transitioned to Heaven on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. She retired from USA MC after 44 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lee Jones, father, Buster Curry, three siblings, Angela Curry, Ernest Curry and Dorothy Matthews. She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Samuel Bernard Jones; her mother, Lula Mae Curry; three grandchildren, Demeino, Mike and Maria Lett; four sisters, Margaret Curry, Lula Curry, Pat (Kenneth) Sims, Linda (Joe) Johnson; five brothers, Robert (Ann) Curry; Leroy (Elaine) Curry, Larry (Sharon) Curry, Bobby Curry, Reginald Curry; a devoted God-daughter, Sharon Travis; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 1pm until 8pm at Small?s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 1pm until the 2pm Home Going Celebration at Mt. Hebron Church, 2531 Berkley Ave. Mobile, AL. Pastor Joe Johnson, Pastor and officiating Minister. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Eightmile, Al. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL?S MORTUARY, 950 S. BROAD STREET, MOBILE, AL.
