Obituary for Helen Helen) Walker
Sis. Helen (Mama Helen) Walker- was born August 12, 1922 and departed this life on January 26, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Walker, parents Eden and Lillie Rhodes, son Edward Ducksworth Jr., and granddaughter Gwendolyn Riley. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her son, Mizell (Martha) Ducksworth of Brooklyn, NY. Her sister Alice Dinner of Brooklyn, NY. Her devoted granddaughter and caregiver Sophia (Edward) McGadney, nine other grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Philadelphia Baptist Church, 1304 N. Wilson Ave. Prichard, AL., from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour. Interment will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in the Whispering Pines Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, INC. 950 S. BROAD ST.
