Herman Nathaniel  Knight
Herman Nathaniel Knight, also known as “Jack” or “Sonny” was born on June 9, 1944 to the late Mose and Lucille Drone Knight, Jr. His earthly journey ended on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and joined and was baptized at the Antioch Baptist Church in Prichard, Alabama under the tutelage of the Reverend Marshall C. Ezell.

He received his formal education from the Mobile County Public School System, graduating from Mobile County Training School in the Class of 1962. After high school he resided in Los Angeles, California for a number of years before moving back to the Mobile area.

Herman was employed at Parkway Upholstery on Dauphin Island Parkway until he retired.

Herman leaves to cherish him memories three children: Adrianne Harris, Darrel (Melinda) Knight and Jennifer (Robert) Feagin; eight grandchildren: Quentin and Brandon Harris, Brittany, Ashley, Daryn and Faith Knight, Ramiah and Ramona Feagin; three great-grandchildren: Tymir, Terranon and Tiara Harris; three siblings: Erma (Jimmie) Woods, Phyllis Knight and Emile (Cynthia) Knight; three aunts: Ethel Harris, Mamie Young and Bernice Dukes; one uncle, Bryant (Margaret) Tate; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, two devoted cousins: Ada Tayloy and Jo Ann Bonner; a host of other relatives and friends, two devoted: Karen Kelly and Mark Petite.

A “Memorial Service” will be held on Friday, July 13, at 2pm in Small’s Mortuary Chapel, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, Alabama.
