Obituary for Ida Malone

Ida Y. Malone -- a native of Bashi, AL. for thirty-four years and a resident of Mobile for fifty-eight, born March 15, 1915 departed this life at a local hospital Sunday, October 28, 2007. She was preceded in death by her mother, Missy York, father, Cad Dunning, three daughters, Mary Malone, Mattie Robinson and Madeline Jones, two sisters, Alene Edwards, and Hettie York, two granddaughters, Terri Malone and LaShune Beard. She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Carrie Morgan, Roxie Beard, Zella Malone, Betty White, two sons, Samuel Malone, all of Mobile and Isaac(Barbara) Malone, Rochester NY., three sisters, Aliece Christpen, Thomasville, AL., Ada Moore and Madena Steel, both of Pinehill, AL., brother Raymond Dunning, Dixie Mills, AL. thirty grands, eighty-three great- grands, one devoted Takeria McCovery and thirty great great- grands. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, November 2, 2007 from 1-6pm and Saturday, November 3, 2007 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour, Interment Lawn Haven. Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL.
