Obituary for Idell Smith

Idell Stokes Smith - a resident of Mobile, Al, passed away monday, April 13, 2009 at the heights Hospital in Houston, TX. Daughter of the lae Royal and Demer Stokes, She is survived by daughters, Barbara L. Siggers, San Antonio, TX; Luci (Dennis) Mathews and Vernell Baker, Houston, Tx. His sons Bernard (Earlene) Smith, Jr. san Antonio, Tx; Dewayne (Mary) Smith, Helena, Al; Azgrano Hooks, II and Roy Hooks, Houston, TX; One sister Gladys Stokes Fikes, Houston, Tx., and a host of other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday April 17, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday April 18, 2009 at the St. Stephen AME Church until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
