Inell Scott  White
Inell Scott White affectionately known as “Madea” was born to the late Mr. Earlie Scott, Sr. and Mrs. Willie Mae Jenkins Scott on June 17, 1941 in Fort Deposit Alabama.

Inell was a longtime member of Living Word Christian Center. She loved to study her Bible and one thing that she reminded her love ones to do all the time was to, “Stay Prayed Up”. She loved her family and family activities. She loved walking at Ladd Stadium and always gave out her safety advice, “make sure you lock your doors and put on your seat belt.”

She was preceded in death by her husband: Isadore White Jr.; four brothers: Willie Tom Scott, Earlie Scott Jr., Mizell Scott and Henry Scott; two sisters: Alma Smith and Willie Pearl Washington.

She leaves to cherish her memory one devoted son: Darryl White of Mobile, Alabama; four devoted daughters: Linda White, Carolyn McCants and Elisha (Julius) Randall, Jr. all of Mobile, Alabama and Shelia Capers of Pensacola, Florida; eight grandchildren: Shannon White, Brittany Capers, Brandon White, Matthew White, Jasmine Capers, Jessie Capers II, Hope McCants and Cullen Denson; one great grandchild: Morgan Burke; two godchildren: Marcus Thomas Jr and Tiffany Bell; two brothers: Franklin (Annie) Scott and John Scott of Mobile AL.; two sisters: Annie (LD) Gentry of Birmingham AL, Mary (Clarence) Graves of Mobile AL; one aunt: Sarah Webb of Montgomery AL; two uncles: James McMean of Queens, NY and Rev. John McMean of Greenville, AL; one great uncle: Willie Poole Sr. of Minter, AL; two brothers-in-law: Charlie (Neller) White and Early J. White all of Mobile AL; one sister-in-law: Percy (Sanders) Crawford of Mobile AL; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives friends and neighbors.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Cedar Park Baptist Church, 1509 Cedar Park Drive, Mobile, Alabama. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, Alabama.
