Obituary for Inez Mack Boykin

Inez Mack Boykin was born May 8, 1931, in Browns, Alabama to the late Rod and Hattie Mack. She went home to be with the Lord and Savior on October 26, 2015. In addition to being a woman devoted to her late husband, children, family and friends, she was a dedicated steadfast Christian, member and servant for forty six years at Saint Peter Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Matron, member of the choir, the Oakdale Community Center and the Nathaniel and Annie Pearl Richardson Senior Life Ministry.

Awesome and beautiful memories will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her three sons, Jimmie L. Boykin, Jr. of Denver, CO, Anthony (Helen) Boykin of Mobile, AL and Timothy Boykin of Washington, DC; three sisters, Charlotte Mack of Denver, CO, Betty Mack of Selma, AL and Vivian Ferguson of Denver, CO; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her remains will lie in state on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, 650 South Bayou St. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
