Obituary for Ira D Davis

Ms. Ira D. Davis, affectionately known as "Dean-Dean", a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Chicago, IL was born October 18, 1960 to the union of Roy and Alberta Davis. She departed this life at local hospital on Monday March 30, 2015. Ms. Davis was a member of Church of God Pentecostal where she received the gift of the Holy Ghost on February 28, 1990. She was a graduate of Mattie T. Blount High school class of 1979. She was preceded in death by her father Roy L. Davis. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted mother Alberta Davis, three brothers Gerome (Marilyn) Davis, Charles Davis and Montrel (Jannice) Davis, four sisters Gwen (Tony) Lewin, Brenda Irby, Yolanda (Johnnie) Foxx and Tjwania Davis. Also cherishing her memories are a host of nieces and nephews, all of them devoted, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Her remains will lie in state on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 1pm until 8pm at Small's Mortuary, Mobile, AL. We invite friends to join us in a celebration of her life on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Church of God Pentecostal, 818 Telegraph Rd. Mobile, AL.
