Obituary for Jackquelyn Jackie Gardner

Jackquelyn Crawford "Jackie" Gardner-- a native and resident of Mobile and a former resident of Paterson, NJ., quietly exchanged time for eternity Saturday, January 31, 2009 at a local hospital. A retired Supervisor of the Claims Department of Merck Paid Prescription in Parsippany, NJ. She was also employed by the City of Mobile Treasury as an OA1. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Apostolic Faith Church, Rev. Ralph Stephens, Pastor working diligently where she was needed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Wilson and Artelia Bush Crawford, three sisters, Mildred Dean, Irma Gatling and Jean Crawford, three brothers, John T, Samuel G. and James L. Crawford Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, brother, Wilson (Ann) Crawford Jr., five sisters, Joann Crawford, Allie (Ralph) Stephens, Marilyn and Ouida Crawford, all of Mobile Shirley (Andy) Lawyer, Spring Valley, CA., sister-in-law, Doris J. Crawford, brother-in-law, Charlie Dean, both of Mobile, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, three special friends, Lucy Hunter, Englewood, NJ, JC Gardner Jr, VA. and Georgia Kennedy, Mobile. Special thanks to Port City Diaylsis Unit, Mobile Infirmary Doctors and Staff and especially Renee Sanford, RN 3rd floor ICU. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, February 6, 2009 from 1-8pm and Saturday, February 7, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Apostolic Faith Church, Weinacker Ave. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Shelton Beach Rd. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
