Obituary for JAMES BUMPERS

Mr. James Robert Bumpers born July 21, 1929, a native of Mobile, AL died June 14, 2011, at a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wilhelmenia Bumpers; four step daughters, Saphronia (Othello) Smith, Catherine (LaForrest) Jones of Mobile, AL, Gwendolyn (Harold) Williams, and Cornelia (Ralph) Wright, both of Jacksonville, FL; mother-in-law, Ms. Autherine Carson of Mobile, AL; seven sisters-in-law; nine brothers-in-law; one great niece; one great-great niece; two nephews; one great nephew; three great-great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. in the Small?s Mortuary Chapel, 950 S Broad St., Mobile, AL.
