James B. Slater was born December 23, 1938 and passed Saturday, January 20, 2010. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 6, 2010 after 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at New Light Baptist Church, 3946 St. Stephen Road, Whistler, AL. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 SOUTH BROAD STREET, MOBILE, AL.
